Privacy Policy

Last Modified: June 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how APPORIA MOBILE LP, a limited partnership incorporated in England (Suite 6053, 128 Aldersgate Street, Barbican, London EC1A 4AE, England), referred to as "Apporia Mobile," "we," "our," or "us," collects, uses, and handles information in connection with the website at lovmia-chat.com and all related services (collectively, the "Services").

We treat the protection of your personal information as a serious responsibility. All user data processed by Apporia Mobile is encrypted both at rest and in transit using AES encryption and TLS 1.3 protocols. Our infrastructure is hosted on platforms certified to SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2 standards, incorporating full encryption, private database connectivity, audit and security logging, and compliance with GDPR and PCI DSS 4.0 requirements under a shared responsibility model. These measures are designed to ensure that your personal information and content are kept secure throughout our systems.

This Policy applies to the Website, any associated mobile applications, and all other digital products and services offered by Apporia Mobile that link to this Policy, as well as any offline services we provide (together, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Services.

Capitalised terms not defined here carry the meaning given to them in the Apporia Mobile Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

The information we collect from you depends on how you interact with the Services. Certain information is necessary to provide the Services — if you decline to provide it, or later ask us to delete it, you may lose access to some or all features.

We collect information from three sources: what you give us directly, what we collect automatically, and what we receive from third parties.

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

You may provide information to us when you register an account, use the Services, get in touch with us, sign up for newsletters, or take part in a promotion. This may include:

You are not obligated to provide this information, but some features of the Services may be unavailable without it.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the Services, we and our third-party service providers (including analytics and advertising companies such as Google Analytics) may automatically collect technical and behavioural information using cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and similar tracking technologies. This information may include:

We use this information to analyse how the Services are used, assess the effectiveness of campaigns, personalise your experience, and improve the platform generally. Most browsers accept cookies by default, though you can usually adjust your settings to decline them — note that doing so may limit certain functionality. For more information, visit https://www.allaboutcookies.org/.

1.3 Information From Third-Party Sources

We may receive information about you from third parties, such as when you are referred to us by another user or when you interact with our profiles on social media platforms such as Instagram or X.

If you choose to connect your account to a third-party account (for example, Facebook or Google), we will receive certain account information from that platform based on your permissions. This is entirely optional, and you can revoke access at any time by managing your settings directly within the relevant third-party platform. We may retain information previously collected prior to revocation.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect for the following purposes:

We may combine information collected through the Services with data from other sources, and we may aggregate or de-identify data for research, analytics, or marketing purposes.

3. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Affiliated entities. We may share information with entities that are under common ownership or control with Apporia Mobile, who will handle it consistently with this Policy.

Service providers. We share information with contractors, consultants, and vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as data storage, payment processing, technical infrastructure, customer support, analytics, fraud detection, legal services, and marketing.

Safety and legal protection. We may disclose information where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Apporia Mobile, our users, or the public, or to defend or enforce our Terms of Service, this Policy, or other agreements.

Analytics and advertising partners. While we do not currently engage in advertising, we may in the future share certain information with analytics and advertising partners who use cookies and tracking tools to help us measure performance and serve relevant content. Please refer to Section 4 for your options regarding this.

Legal and regulatory requirements. We may disclose information where required to do so by law, court order, warrant, subpoena, or other lawful government or regulatory process.

Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, asset sale, financing, or similar transaction involving all or part of our business, relevant information may be disclosed to prospective or actual counterparties.

Your User Content. Certain actions you take on the platform — such as creating a public Character — may result in content being visible to or accessible by other users.

With your consent. We may share your information with unaffiliated third parties where you have specifically directed or consented to us doing so.

4. Analytics and Tailored Advertising

Analytics. We use third-party analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to understand how users interact with the Services. These providers collect data about your visits and usage behaviour directly. To prevent Google Analytics from processing your data, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

Tailored advertising. We do not currently run targeted advertising. However, we may in the future work with advertising networks that use cookies and similar technologies to deliver content based on your browsing activity on the Services and elsewhere online. Where we do so, you will be able to opt out via tools provided by the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI), the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA), or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA), as well as through Google Ads Settings. Please note that opting out of targeted advertising does not mean you will stop seeing ads entirely — only that they will not be personalised to your interests. We are not responsible for the continued availability or accuracy of those opt-out tools.

5. Your Choices and Rights

Account and profile. You can deactivate your account at any time through your profile page. You may also review, update, or correct certain personal information held in your account from the same location.

Marketing communications. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails by following the unsubscribe link in any such message. We may still send you service-related communications (such as policy update notices) even after you opt out of marketing.

Cookies. You may manage your cookie preferences using the tools described in this Policy and in your browser settings.

Your data rights. Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

You may designate an authorised agent to submit requests on your behalf, provided they supply written authorisation or a power of attorney. We may verify your identity before processing any request. Note that some information may be exempt from deletion or access requests under applicable law, and that removing certain data may affect your access to the Services.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@miaaichat.com. We will acknowledge your request and respond within the timeframes set out in Section 14.

6. Regional Privacy Disclosures

EEA and United Kingdom Residents

Apporia Mobile LP acts as the data controller of your personal data under the UK GDPR and the EU General Data Protection Regulation. As data controller, we are responsible for determining how and why your personal data is processed. Our legal bases for processing are:

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or your local supervisory authority. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern directly.

Nevada Residents

Nevada law provides residents with the right to opt out of the sale of certain personal information. We do not currently sell personal information as that term is defined under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A. If you would like to submit an opt-out request nonetheless, please contact us at support@miaaichat.com with the subject line "Nevada Do Not Sell Request," along with your name and the email address linked to your account.

California Residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we are required to disclose additional information about our data practices. The categories of personal information we collect include: identifiers; financial information (such as payment data); commercial transaction information; internet or electronic network activity; general geolocation data; audio or visual content (such as images and videos you submit); and inferences drawn from the above.

We also collect the following categories of sensitive personal information: account credentials (login and password); and any sensitive information you voluntarily include in your User Content (such as information about your race, religion, or sexual orientation).

We collect this information from: (1) you directly; (2) your use of the Services; and (3) third parties such as other users and unaffiliated partners.

We may use third-party analytics and advertising services that result in the "sharing" (as defined under the CCPA) of online identifiers — such as cookie data, IP addresses, and device identifiers — with advertising partners. To opt out, please use the tools described in Section 4. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16.

We do not respond to browser-based Do Not Track signals, as no uniform industry standard currently exists.

7. Children's Privacy

The Services are strictly intended for users aged 18 and over, as set out in our Terms of Service. If we become aware that a person under 18 has submitted personal information to us, we will close the relevant account and delete that information promptly. We may, where permitted by applicable law, retain limited information for internal compliance purposes.

8. Security

We implement technical, organisational, and physical safeguards to protect your information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no transmission over the internet or email system is entirely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data, and you use the Services at your own risk in this regard.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we will delete or aggregate it.

Popular Characters: If a Character you create and set to "Public" becomes widely used on the platform, we may continue to maintain that Character even after you delete your account, in order to preserve the experience of other users who interact with it regularly. If you do not wish personal information about you to be retained in this way, please avoid including any such details when creating a public Character.

10. International Data Transfers

Our Services operate globally, and your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the one in which you reside, including countries whose data protection laws differ from those in your home country. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to third countries not recognised as providing an adequate level of protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including:

You may request further information about the safeguards we use by contacting us at support@miaaichat.com. By using the Services, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred internationally as described above.

11. Third-Party Links

The Services may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. Their collection and use of your information will be governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. We encourage you to review those policies before submitting any personal information to third-party services.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, our data practices, or the features of the Services. The date of the most recent revision will always appear at the top of this page. Where a change is material, we will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements. Your continued use of the Services after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.

13. Right to Erasure

You have the right to request that we delete personal data we hold about you without undue delay, where there is no legitimate reason for us to continue processing it. This right also applies where you have successfully objected to processing, where we may have processed your data unlawfully, or where deletion is required under applicable law.

Please note that in certain circumstances we may be unable to comply with a deletion request — for example, where retention is required to comply with a legal obligation. We will inform you of any such reason at the time of your request.

You also have the right to object to our processing of your personal data at any time, in particular where we are processing it for direct marketing purposes. In some cases, we may be able to demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests — we will explain this clearly if it applies.

14. Response Timeframe

We aim to respond to all valid requests within one calendar month of receipt. If your request is particularly complex, or if you have submitted multiple requests simultaneously, it may take us up to an additional two months. In such cases, we will notify you of the delay and keep you informed of progress.
